Poor packaging
This was sort of a doomed purchase from the start: I have a Spirit not an Aero but for some reason I didn't see that. I drilled new holes and it fits now. The main problem was that I sliced lengthwise with a blade and cut a slit into the backrest, again my fault but a 'cut-here' or 'don't use a knife here' sticker would have been helpful.
