Worth it
There are brighter lights, there are lights with longer battery life, but the convenience of this light set outweighs all of that. Being able to control the tail light from the front is more convenient that it initially seems. The ability to mount the headlight under the handlebar is also more advantageous than an initial consideration gives credit for. Fortuitously I haven't had to try the IPX6 rating, but the two stay connected quite reliably.
