Comfy, well mad. Trusty TLD you can never go wrong
Very comfy, quality foam. Lightweight despite not being carbon. I love how the cheek pads and liners are removable, just toss em in the laundry machine. The large fit my head perfect but the cheek pads were too loose so I got some medium cheek pads and the helmet fits like a glove now. Only reason it gets 4 stars is because the helmet makes a loud creaking noise when it shakes on my head going through the rough stuff. I think it’s the mips liner rubbing against the inside of the helmet but I could be wrong. Other than that love it and worth the money.

Best full face helmet out there
This is my second TLD helmet, the first one being a D3. The D4 fits slightly better, feels a bit more "substantial" in terms of protection, without weighing any more than the D3. It vents a little better than the D3 as well. This is a top quality MTB helmet, and Fortnine offered the best price!

I have a big head and have struggled with helmets. This one is a treat. 5min into the ride I forgot I was wearing it. Great helmet!

Our favorite helmets
We love Troy Lee D4 helmets. We’ve owned many because our son has a gift for landing on his hand. They’ve kept him safe in the Bike Park. We just make sure to replace them after a big crash.
