                  Description

TLD's Stage helmet: less weight, more fun! Since its debut, the Stage helmet has redefined mountain bike safety, style, comfort and ventilation. Stage is the lightest full-face helmet in its class, and combines MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), EPP (for slow speed impacts) and EPS (for high-speed impacts) in one sleek package, that sets the standard for mountain bike enduro helmets. A Polylite shell with fiber reinforcement and Polyacrilite injected chin bar with EXOskeleton adds strength without sacrificing weight. 11 high-flow air intakes and 14 exhaust ports and large ventilation chin bar openings aid in cooling and comfort in all conditions. The TLD Stage Helmet also includes an X-Static® helmet liner that is moisture-wicking, quick-drying and odor-fighting. A Fidlock® buckle and lightweight hardware round out the overall package.

                  Features:

                  • Dual Density EPS co-molded with EPP combine to safely manage high and low-speed impact energy
                  • MIPS brain protection system reduces rotational forces to the brain in certain crash scenarios
                  • EPP lined chinbar for multi impact performance
                  • Drawstring bag with breathable mesh paneling and additional anodized hardware, liners and pads
                  • Meets Certification for CPSC 1203, CE EN1078, ASTM F1952, ASTM F2032, and AS/NZS 2063
                  • 690 g (1.5 lbs) size M/L

Note: Not intended for use with motorized vehicles

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I wanted / Exceptional service I had done all my research online, and tried on this helmet (and many others) in different colour ways in retail stores here. So I knew what size and model I needed. I just wanted this colour way. But here's the thing. I could have bought it anywhere online. Prices are basically the same. Some even offer free shipping over $x. But I bought it from Fort Nine because last year I bought a pretty expensive hydration backpack (USWE) with a bunch of USWE accessories after doing all my research and went with FortNine because (a) they are in Canada (so support a Canadian company and also no questions with borders, customs and VATs) and they could get it to me faster and cheaper than all other options. But when it got it, even though it was the largest USWE size, and technically should fit me based on the specs, it was simply too small (6'3" 225 lbs). So I had to return it. Gawd, I hate returning things you bought online, it's such a hassle and who knows if they will take it back, it's always an argument. So - the process with Fort Nine was so easy and seamless with communication throughout that it left an impression. So now, a year later, when it's time to buy a $400 helmet - it was a free and easy choice to buy it here. Because I had confidence that if anything was wrong they would uphold their word and provide top support and service. So - thank you, Fort Nine! You earned my business forever by taking back something you just sold me. ;) Cheers. PS: the helmet arrived a week BEFORE the eta provided. Undamaged and well packaged. Winning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable! Purchased this along with another helmet to test them both for fit and finish. I really liked the way this Troy Lee fit my head shape while remaining light and breathable. Most importantly for me was the value at this price point, the style, MIPS and Fidlock are great value for the dollar here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from TLD Stage Full face helmet Great fit. Fairly cool considering a full face. Downside is how the chin straps run over the jaw/ear cushions. They can become bothersome on the ears. Still a fantastic helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great helmet. Light and airy. Great helmet. Can't believe how light it is, and the fit is spot on. My head is about 59cm intermediate oval, and this L fits great. Same as a large Arai XD4 or Fox V1. I was pleasantly surprised to forget i was wearing it, about 2 minutes down the trail during 1st ride with it. It's that light and airy. Huge viewport. Extra cheek pads and liner to tune the fit further. Only complaint is the strap is a single pivot design. You can't adjust how far forward or back the chin strap sits by playing with those V's of strap in a basic bike helmet. Not that big a deal, because the strap can still pivot, but i think I'd probably run it even tighter if I could do that fine adjust. At full price? I am too cheap, i would have gone heavier. But at 25% or more discount, this is an excellent helmet for anyone. The best gear is the stuff you'll actually wear!
