Heavy Duty, Great Security, Great Deterrent
I bought the XX10 as an upgrade from the XX6 that I bought. This thing is built like a brick craphouse. It is fully certified by EU motorcycle security standards and the one I bought was in a bright yellow colour to show people not to bother trying to tamper with my bike.
However, moving up from the XX6, I noticed a few trade-off's.
The XX6 can simply click shut to lock. The XX10 requires a press and an key-turn to lock, so it's not as fast to secure as the XX6. So this goes the same if you want to store the XX10 with the lock pushed in. No more instant click and now you are required a key and turn.
The Good:
- Tough as... well... steel I guess
- Yellow option highlights presence of defense device.
- EU security Certifications (The XX6 does not)
The Bad:
- Not as fast to operate as the XX6
Verdict:
- Would still buy and recommend.

Just works
Love it in yellow for visual deterrent. Alarm is very loud and obnoxious. Sensitivity is great, I will update if I get any nuisance alarms but nothing yet. It’s easy to forget you put it on if you’re not staring at it, but move your bike an inch and it will remind you! FYI the zena lock number refers to the thickness of the locking pin. Xx10 is 10mm lock pin.

Motion alarm way too sensitive.
Great as a disk lock, horrible as a motion alarm. I would say 1 in 3 times you set it, it will go off even if you don’t touch the bike, it seems to also get triggered by changing light conditions (dark to light). I’m likely going to have to remove the battery and use simply as a lock.

Works as expected
I bought the chain adapter with this and it’s exactly what I needed. Acts as a disc lock, alarm, and tie into the chain all in one. The alarm is loud and sensitive enough to go off if you touch it or mess with the bike.

Simple and effective
Bought this lock 2 years ago . Great peace of mind when parking my bike on the street . Love the alarm feature, there's no need for a cable up to your handle bars to remind you because if you move or sit on the bike it will start with warning beeps before the alarm sounds .

Easy To Use & Effective
I recently had my bike stolen from the parking lot of my building and was looking for a security solution for my new bike that wouldn't be too cumbersome for me yet would still be an effective deterrent. The Xena XX10 provided exactly what I was looking for.
It is very well built, loud and easy to use and a great deterrent. The reason I say it is a deterrent is because this lock can easily be defeated by a skateboard however it would still scream while being carted away.

nice piece of security
I bought this Xena along with the cable and adapter for a up coming ride. The lock looks and feels bullet proof and the cable adds a whole other layer of security. fortnine was a breeze to order from and my order arrived promptly.

does this lock have bluetooth? All Xena disc lock alarms were supposed to have Bluetooth to connect to the phone app, this allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the alarm module etc. But in the description I see no mention of bluetooth.
No the lock does not have Bluetooth.

The battery life depends on usage. It's a button battery (CR2) and would just be replaced when dead.
