Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nicely made. I have been riding with this window for a couple weeks now & like it a lot. There isn't a huge improvement over stock window as the stock one is really quite good. I like the fact it is stronger &has a better hard coating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This should have been BMW's stock windshield. After riding long distances with the stock windshield, I was finding that my arms and shoulders were getting sore from the wind. Now with this windshield, the soreness is gone. Would I purchase another one... you betcha! FWIW, for those with a 2005-09 R1200RT, take a look at the bottom of the stock windshield to see who made it. You might get a surprise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install. Nice to use. What I found with the BMW windshield was that it really starts to shine at 160 km/h and up. It increasingly got quiet and stable and the calm air behind the shield got big enough for both driver and passenger. My passenger asked me why I had slowed down! This after I hit 160km/h. So, I would say the original equipment is beautifully designed if you are a regular Autobahn commuter. I'm not. At 'low' speeds, the complaints you read about are true. Wind buffeting, noise, too small a bubble of protection for the passenger. The VStream seems to be the opposite design. 'Low' speeds, below 160 km/h, you can hear a bit of wind buffeting (passing a big truck, etc. but you can no longer feel it. Quiet. stable. Bubble of protection big enough for all. Even the driver's hands are in calmer air. Highway speed, I never even wanted to drop the helmet visor even one click, and O was cruising 2 hours at 70 mph (112 km/h) at 11 degrees C (52 F). Beautiful. However, just as a test what does speed feel like? At 160 km/h, right where the BMW shield started to enter the land of perfection, the VStream started to sound like someone was scraping their fingernails across a blackboard. Or, banshees were screaming. That noise of torn air was only going to get worse the faster you went. So I highly recommend the VStream to anyone who likes living their life on the freedom side of a jail cell. It's great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth the money It’s definitely not perfect but a huge improvement over the stock factory shield, I’m 6’ tall and the 1.5 inch difference in height makes a very noticeable improvement I recommend the product
