We went all-out when developing the 509 Backcountry Gloves to be better fitting, more durable, and more comfortable than the competition. Built for long days and aggressive riding, these gloves combine rugged stretch softshell fabric and a top grain goat leather palm with a waterproof/breathable membrane and strategically placed 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation. The extra-long gauntlet cuff and speed cinch creates a snow-proof seal around your wrists.

I bought these a week ago and first ride with them they were soaking wet, I could wring them out, dripping in water.... pretty disappointing for the price. working on a refund

Cold
I was hoping these gloves would be as warm as my fxr gloves but they aren’t alone. I recommend buying a pair of insulated gloves to go inside of them. I used them at -12 on sled and found my fingers cold within 10 minutes. Using the sleds heated grips did help but i don’t like relying on those if something were to happen in the country.

worn about 10 times mountain riding. no signs of tears or wear yet. grip the bars nicely without being too sticky .
