Practicability in everyday cycling: the ABUS Chain Lock 1200 Web is a low-priced chain lock designed for situations in which there is a low risk of theft. The number combination is set in the factory and included in the package.
The chain in this ABUS lock is made of specially hardened steel and is 4 mm thick. It is encased in a textile sleeve to protect against scratches to your bicycle's paintwork if you chain it to lampposts, bicycle stands or to other bikes.

Not too much security
Really thin, could probably be pulled apart by sticking a bar through and twisting it. Short, lightweight, feels flimsy. The only good things are the name of the manufacturer and the sleeve that it's in, but I would absolutely bet a little leverage and ninety seconds could pop this thing right open. It's about as thick as an 8mm allen key, including the sleeve.

Flimsy
Light duty lock. Could be pulled apart a few ways - a kid could probably wrench on it, make off with a bike. Fine as a secondary lock or even a low-risk bike, but I'd get something four, five times thicker.
