Description
Lock-chain combinations are an excellent choice when it comes to securing motorbikes and scooters. There are usually plenty of attachment options on the wheels and frame for securing them to a fixed object. A bike that is secured in this way cannot simply be picked up and carried away – which is a real security advantage.
Technology:
- 12 mm strong loop chain with fabric sleeve to prevent damage to the motorbike‘s paintwork
- The chain, the 13.5 mm bolt, the lock body as well as supporting elements of the locking mechanism are made of special hardened steel
- Alarm function of the ABUS 3D detection system that means, that every movement is detected
- Alarm of at least 100 dB for 15 seconds (activates automatically again)
- Lock can be transported in locked condition without activating the detection system thanks to automatic brake disc recognition system
- A multi colour LED and different acoustic signals inform about battery and activation status
- ABUS X-Plus cylinder for highest protection against manipulations e.g. picking
- Two keys are supplied with the lock, one LED torch key
- ABUS Code Card for additional or replacement key
- Two AAA standard batteries for the alarm function included

- Chain lock combinations are a very good solution for locking a motorbike to a fixed object
- The loop chain permits a very efficient use of the chain length
- Very handy use because only one end of the chain must be locked
- Two in one lock that means that the brake disc lock can also be used without the chain
- The chain has a special end link and can only be used in combination with the Detecto 8077 brake disc lock
- Please note that the chain combination does not necessarily fit on the same brake discs like the lock alone
- To limit the possibilities of brutal attacks it is recommendable to avoid that the chain lays on or hangs close to the ground
