Description
Designed for uncompromising performance on the track, it offers most of the Pista GP R's features, but with a carbon-fiberglass shell and adjustable vents. Offering most of the same features as the top-of-the-line Pista GP R but in a carbon-fiberglass shell and adjustable vents, the Corsa R is designed for uncompromising performance on the track. A new interior construction provides a stable, pressure-free fit, and the patented, reversible crown pad features two distinct fabrics, allowing riders to select between warm and cool sides depending on conditions or personal preference. A removable nose guard and wind deflector are both included, and the Integrated Ventilation System (IVS) places intake ports at areas of maximum airflow.

- Shell in CAAF (carbon-Aramidic-Fiberglass) engineered in 4 sizes with 5-densities EPS structure developed in 4 sizes
- Shell shape is designed to maximize aerodynamic performance and to minimize the risk of impact being channeled to the collar bone. Rear shape is engineered to minimize interference with racing suit in racing positions
- IVS (Integrated Ventilation System) ventilation with 5 large front vents and 2 rear extractors hollowed in the shell which direct air to the rider's head. The unique upper central air intake has been strategically placed in to capture maximum air flow in highest air pressure point. All the air vents are adjustable
- New internal chin channels distribute the air flow evenly through the entire visor surface. Vent covers are included in the box
- New wind tunnel tested spoiler features maximizes aerodynamic performance and stability during high speed riding. The spoiler is engineered to detach from the helmet in case of an accident, therefor maintaining the helmet's round shape for increased safety
- New Corsa R interiors construction is engineered to allow a stable, embracing and pressure free fit to maximize dynamic comfort. Removable nose guard and wind protector
- Patented reversible crown pad features a double face use that allows riders to select the preferred feel and climate:
- Warmer side: with Shalimar fabric for a soft and gentle touch
- Cooler side: with Ritmo fabric for a fluid and fresh fit
- The inner liner of the helmet is designed to offer the highest riding comfort. All parts are easily removable and washable
- Neck roll: Shalimar and Nabuk fabric with water resistant treatment, preventing water to be channeled inside the helmet
- Cheek pads: Ritmo fabric with Sanitized® (antibacterial protection), 2Dry (moisture wicking) and Microsense (premium skin comfort and wearing fluidity) treatments
- Crown pad: Shalimar (warmer side) and Ritmo (cooler side) with the same treatments listed for cheek pads
- New patented cheek pads safety release system engineered to remove conveniently in case of an accident
- New Class Optic 1 visor with 100% Max Vision Pinlock® (120) anti fog technology is designed for maximum vertical view on racing position (85°) and unmatched horizontal view (190°). The visor is anti-scratch and ready for track-use tear-off. A tear-off kit is included in the box
- Patented Visor Lock System (VLS) reduces the risk of accidental opening in the event of an accident: visor thickness is from 4 to 5 mm, increasing face and eyes protection in the case of an accident
- Unique metal visor mechanism in metal with roto-translation movement for total sealing between visor and shell. Rapid visor release system allows the visor to be removed and replaced in seconds. Mechanism is designed to minimize the area, therefor supporting peripheral view and impact performance

Great new features. Quality lost.
Having owned the Corsa and moved to a Corsa R due to an accident, I'll list the Pro's and cons versus the regular Corsa.
Pros:
-The inner lining now accommodates the Sena speakers by leaving a gap between your ear and the foam. The previous version didn't.
-Better fitting air deflector at the nose works better for de-fogging
-Pinlock 120 really makes them invisible now they are so big
-Air vent covers move more easily
-Visor seals onto the rubber gasket much better.
-Cheekpad emergency removal is a nice touch.
-Easier internal to remove and re-install. No breaking of the rivets, as well as having spare rivets.
Cons:
-You'll look like an idiot trying to open your visor with gloves at a light. The locking mechanism is now very hard to activate due to the indented button and it locks the face shield down really tight because it now seals. So it takes two hands, and your head to get the thing to open.
-Materials used for the lining (particularly the skull cap) seem to have degraded, a lot. I've never had a helmet that has made my scalp itch, but this thing is the worst. Anything more than 4 hours and I feel like peeling my scalp off with a knife. I've owned Icon, Bell, Arai, Suomy and AGV, and this is morbid. I have no clue what they've done.
-The visor mechanism is somewhat stiffer. I've lubed it with silicone grease and it has gotten better. I'm not sure if it will loosen over time or this has been done because there is no quarter, half three-quarter open notches (dunno what to call those).
If I'd have to do it again, I'd go back to the regular Corsa just because of the scalp itch.

Only had a couple short rides but it’s a great lid, fitment was spot on, don’t find it overly noisy, colours are much brighter than in pics

Accident within 8 minutes of first use
After purchasing this helmet I had it on for only about 8 minutes and was hit by a lady who ran a stop sign. I suffered severe injuries but no head trauma. The helmet took a major impact on the right side and is destroyed.
This helmet protected my head from any serious injury. I did suffer a minor fracture of the lower orbital bone under the right eye.
AGV helmets are #1 in my books.
