Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice boots. Not the best for walking! Nice boots, Well made and comfortable. After a couple of rides in the rain they seem to be waterproof as advertised. My only complaint is that the sole is designed to be flat on the ground when sitting on your bike. When walking it feels like you are walking on the outer sides of your feet. This is causing me a bit of knee pain when walking. Solution - More riding, less walking!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good boot for the orice This is my second year with these boots. They took a bit to break in and get used to. But now they working well. I have ridden in some rain and there were no issues. Comfortable. They do like most boots get warm in hot weather. However, for me it’s the trade off on a long trip. I like safety CE rating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, good quality boots I received the boots yesterday and took these on a quick ride. So far, these meet all my expectations. I have rather wide feet and these boots fit perfectly and are very comfortable. I can't comment on the waterproofing or riding for long hours in scorching heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for all-weather commutes They are waterproof, and have kept my feet dry even in 20 mm rainy conditions. After around 2 years of use, they continue to stay dry but have noticeable wear around the toe shifter interface, ripped seams around the hook and loop fasteners, and bits of the rubber sole falling off. I'd say this is still above average in durability, as none of these have severely impacted my riding experience.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bien satisfait. La botte est un peu raide les premières journées mais est devenue plus malléable ensuite. J’ai roulé souvent par 7 degrés Celcius sans problème durant 3 à 4 heures. Pour l’instant (2 mois d’usage), elle semble résistante.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Value I haven't put a lot of miles on in these boots yet, but so far I'm enjoying them. It took some break-in to be able to upshift properly (think ankle mobility) but the more I wear them, them more I like them. For the amount of protection they offer, they are easy to put on/take off, thanks to the side zipper. I assume they'll be hot in the higher temps though haven't had a chance to experience that yet.

                  Questions

I love ordering form Fortnine but they do not have the boot's dimensions. My present pair of Alpinestars boots are too short when I am on my bike with my new Fortnine Alpinestars Drytstar pants, even though I bough "tall". How "tall" are these boots?

                  Asked by: Chuck
The boots are tall enough I would say...reach to about half height on my shins, enough to cover the lower portion of my knee pads. That said, if I were to buy them again I’m not sure I would choose this model...feels a little thin around the ankle and is not waterproof whatsoever despite the marketing information. Not fitting really for sport bike attire, nor does it look “adventurous” enough for those going off-road. Your choice!

Can you put insoles (orthotics) into them?

                  Asked by: vesalius74
I would say yes- as the insoles can be removed much like many other footwear.

                  Any shank in these?

                  Asked by: Bubba
Not sure about the shank, but I just finished a 17,000km tour of the USA and wore them every day. Comfortable and completely waterproof. No issues at all. Hope this helps.
