Beautiful, functional boots.
It’s still early in the riding season and this Covid epidemic isn’t helping. However the few local rides I did get in has satisfied me that these will be great. Sizing is important and I’ve never been a fan of online boot buying but Fortnine has a very easy return policy. It took me 2 orders to get it right and here is what I learned. I take a size 12 and have a wide foot so knowing that Euro sizes can be smaller than North American I chose size 13.5 (49), they were wide enough but loose fitting. I reordered a size 12.5 (48) and they fit perfectly with the socks I like to wear. Save your packaging, try your boots by wearing them around the house, and leave all the tags on while you decide. Online shopping is here to
stay so lets support a Canadian company!

Very dry and comfortable boot
I've had my Web Goretex boots for 3 years now and several transcontinental rides. I also wear them for instructing. These are great boots! They keep my feet completely dry even in an all day rain and are comfortable enough to walk around in all day as well. They are still in good shape but I will definitely replace them with another pair when the time comes.

Dry, comfortable, secure feeling.
I replaced an unsatisfactory, less pricey pair of 'waterproof' boots with these almost 2 months ago.
Numerous rainy days layer, with hours of wet riding (daily rider) these are by far the best i have worn.
Totally dry, breathable, comfortable in all kinds of heat and cold (from 30 down to 2 degrees Celsius), with solid feel and good 'walkability ' - I couldn't recommend these more highly.

Great Boot
These are my second pair of Web Gore Tex boots. They are a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The first pair have over 120,000 kilometres of riding in all kinds of weather and have never let me down.
There are a few changes with these new boots - the zipper is on the inside of the ankle, the zipper has a velcro tab on it so it can be secured in the full up position (on my old boots the zipper would slip down), and there are three flaps covering the zipper as opposed to the old boots' two. These changes bode well for the new boots and I am hopeful they will stand up as well as the old ones.

Nice boots
4-5 times I wear the boots. They are good quality, but they are more narrow than my older Alpinestars. When shifting the speed, I also feel more the speed shifter. Overall I like them, but for the price I was expecting better.

Trop grand

Stretched out a lot!
Since they don't make a 41 anymore, I bought the 42. It was a good fit from the box but they stretched out more than expected and now I'm stuch with boots that are too big. On top of that, the sole is almost flat and they have very little grip.

Questions
What are the width of these boots. Normal. Medium. Or wide?
I would say they are on the wider side of medium. Not overly so but definitely not skinny.
Date published: 2019-09-23
can anyone comment on the width of these boots do they fit narrow or wide?
Definitely a wider North American fit. Very comfortable, very waterproof, very durable. All around good value. I've owned them 4 years now and they are good for another 4.
