Solid shoe, easy to walk in.
Fit was as expected. Shoe seems to have good ankle protection and has some plastic sliders, toe is not particularly stiff though. At the back of the ankle the cut of the shoe dips down significantly which makes it quite easy to walk, although the sole is more stiff then regular shoes. Velcro tab keeps the laces tucked nicely away, and the thin toe profile and flat sole makes shifting way smoother then with the boots I used to wear.
Quite happy with the product, perfect blend of protection and a somewhat normal shoe.

Good looking shoes fits a bit tight
These are some sharp looking shoes in person I personally like my day to day shoes a little bit loose and I ordered the exact same size the shoe fits although tighter then I'd usually wear but my feet feel secure with them on and with the cutout at the back shifting and breaking are a breeze they also look like regular shoes and are comfortable to walk in so they are great for hearing off the bike as well

Great riding shoe!
Just got these recently because I wanted something a bit more breathable than my waterproof shoes. I have done a few rides in them (about 350 km so far) and they’re very comfy! There is some perforation but it would be nice if there was a bit more ventilation. Otherwise these shoes seem great so far. Love the Velcro to cover the laces so you’re not fussing with trying to tuck them all in. Fit for me was a bit big so I had to get a half size smaller in alpinestars.

Very comfortable
Lots of support and didn’t take long to break in. They feel great and are solid and keep your feet from getting sore from the pegs.

Questions

How are these for width? I have wide flat feet and need a new pair of street riding shoes. Its hard to find shoes that fit properly
I would say they are a narrower fit IMO

Is the red on the black/grey/red version actually red, or is it that Alpinestars orange-red they use? I remember seeing the same colour on a pair of gloves online but in person they were more orange than red, curious if this is the same.
Yes, it is Red. Here's a couple images of the Faster-3 in our warehouse.

How would these stand up to a bit of rain? Do they soak thru immediately and get your socks wet?
i ride in the rain and i find them water resistant. my feet stay dry when i ride in down pours, but they won't keep your feet dry if your a puddle jumper
