Amazing
Super comfortable right out of the box, I wore these for 12 hours, 8 of which were riding, and there was virtually no break-in period.
On the bike: low profile makes shifting easy, the flat sole makes moving on the pegs smooth, and the ankle strap keeps the shoelaces out of the way.
I wish there was a little more rigidity in the ankle area, but for an everyday shoe, it’s perfect. The shoes were true to size; I’d suggest buying the same size you wear in regular shoes

Great shoes
True to size, look nice and most people wouldn’t notice that they’re anything more than a normal pair of shoes. Decent to walk inconsidering the protection they offer. Shifting is a breeze compared to normal shoes too. If you’re considering them just buy them you won’t be disappointed.

great style great comfort
i love the fit of the shoes and the look of it. i usually wear 9,5 and bought 9,5 and it is good.
One con is, on the inside, theres already scuffing on the textured surface from touching my bike, after riding about a 1000km.
bang for bucks i would definitely recommend this pair of alpinestars.
i went from soft walking shoes to these and my shiffting is way better since i no longer go to neutral when shifting to second gear

Better than anticipated
I bought them for the beginning of the season after looking for the ''perfect'' pair of boots for a while. As it appears, there's no perfect pair of boots, they all have their pros and cons, but most importantly wearing any pair of riding shoe/boots is better than nothing so I decided to pull the plug on these ones. They look very great with pants on, discret like a normal shoe and they feel pretty comfortable. They aren't rated WP, but I am pretty confident they would be water resistant in most wet riding conditions.
Overall a great purchase, I am not disapointed at all. I bought my normal shoe size and they fit true to size.

Nice riding boots
Overall stylish, comfortable, easy to tie. Good general protection no hard materials but protects in the good areas. Run a little long at the toe if you have short feet. True to size.

Questions
Other sites say these are waterproof. Is this true, or are yours a different model (since waterproof-ness is not mentioned in your description)?
This version of the shoe is not waterproof, however Alpinestars does make a waterproof version of the Sektor shoe. It can be found here: https://fortnine.ca/en/alpinestars-sektor-waterproof-shoes

Definitely narrow

Does this feel similar to regular runners?
I found these to be very similar to a Puma shoe, but wider in the front area so your toes aren't squished. I find them to be incredibly comfortable for a riding shoe; caught myself more than once forgetting I'm even wearing them and keeping them on after I'm done riding.
