Alpinestars Leonis Drystar Air overall real solid
Love the arms being a bit longer , great adjustments along the arm and lower sides of jacket to cinch in. Ability to remove the Drystar liner for very decent airflow especially for summer riding. The rain liner is under my seat. I bought this jacket because first I wanted something other than all black for better visibility.
I also needed the jacket to match my Alpinestars Valparaiso 2 Drystar Pants. I have always found Alpinestar products to fit me well. The jacket was a large and I am 5"11" about 175 on average. The pants were purchased in a medium w waist at 32/33.
I purchased the Alpinestars Nucleon KR-CELLi Back Protector to replace the lame foamy back protector. I like the jacket neck latch that can be pinned back. I like the ability to zip the pants and jacket together for complete protection. I find the jacket to be perfect for summer riding as it flows well, the inside waterproof storage pocket is great and the side pockets are decent size. For the price of $234 and 290 for the pants I have a great kit that I find super comfortable to ride in during summer months and I am protected well. In coller weather I am sure with the Drystar liner in and a long sleeve thermal sweatshirt I will be able to ride into the fall pretty comfortably. Very happy with the Alpinestar products and may be I will add other Nucleon armour

Too much material in arms
Got about 1000km on this jacket now. Overall pretty nice, however there is way too much material in the arms near the wrist. This are has a zipper and then a Velcro strap - I need to leave the zipper undone and fold over the material, then use the Velcro strap to secure it. If they removed a solid inch of fabric here it would fit more reasonably.
The mesh armour is nice but acts a bit like a cheese grater on your elbows. Once riding I don’t notice it though.
Jacket flows a ton of air - very nice on warm days.

Fits snug
Even with the extra size up this jacket fit snug, with the waterproof liner out it is better.High end base layers would work well to give more room and better comfort.Other wise I am very happy with quality and info given about jacket

Very nice jacket, sizing chart is not accurate
I bought this to ride in the heat on my Tuono, not for the rain liner which is effective but very hot. The jacket fits quite snug, belying the size chart. Finish is good and construction is better than some other Alpinestars products which are often poorly made. Foam back "protector" is just filler so for proper protection you have to spend more for the Nucleon back protector.

Flows air, subtle advertising, good reflectivity
Alpinestars is known for its jackets being cut small. I bought the 5XL according to the size chart to fit my shoulders and waist and it is correct for there, but it is tight across the sternum. Those with a barrel chest be aware. I could probably remove the foam chest protectors, but they are there for a reason. It flows air very well and I like the arm cinching straps since the arms are too long, a side effect of getting a jacket to fit my shoulders. Have not had to test the Dryfit liner so far. Pleased with the product overall. That I had to buy back armour separately was annoying.

Solid jacket overall till early fall weather sets
Purchased this jacket in July. I needed an upgrade to my old Alpinestar black jacket and I wanted something more visible. I purchased the grey/white version in large, fit was spot on. I am 5'11' 173lb. I also ordered the Alpinestars Andes V2 Drystar Pants which match quite well and make me alot more visible. The only thing about the jacket is having to upgrade the armor, I replaced the back armor and I am ordering up better chest armor. The jacket vents well, the drystar liner will keep you dry in event of a shower you are caught in and I typically kept it under my seat during the summer and added it to jacket later part of August. It may not be the best for breathability but overall the jacket was worth it on sale. I like that the sleeves are longer and there is adjustment in the forearms. I like the flip back collar strap. I have an older but in great shape M2R leather perforated suit but I decided to move to textile. When zipped to my Andres V2 Drystar pants its a pretty great sport touring setup and I am toasty warm. If anything the jacket allows me to add a layer underneath as weather gets colder
