Great Gloves, touchscreen tips suck though.
The SP-8 V3 are good gloves, comfortable and didn't require a break in period. My biggest gripe with them are the touchscreen finger tips on the thumb and fore-finger, they simply don't work, yes, i should use my Cardo voice control.. but that is hit or miss.

Decent gloves for the price
I had to break my pair in over the course of a few months to get them comfortable. I had a spot on the seam by the meat of my thumb that would bother me when I rode. The cuffs are a little small and tight to get on a suit with bulky wrists. I crashed at the track with these and they shredded apart to the point where I won’t wear them anymore(still in one piece, but there’s gaps) They did what I needed them to do, but I will be upgrading to something a little more substantial.

Ladies - this will work for you...
With covid, supplies have been depleted everywhere, so I was not able to buy women's gloves in the style and size I wanted. Stella Large SP-8s fit me (I have a pair), but they were sold out when I wanted a capacitive pair. Alpinestars sizing chart indicated that men's small was the same size as ladies large... it is not. I had to return the men's small, and buy men's medium. However, once I had the correct size, they are excellent gloves.

Low quality material
Bought these gloves and used them about 5 times. The fake leather material on the thumb tips have started to peel off just from opening and closing my visor. Hoping to get a refund so I can choose a different glove. Waiting to hear back from inquiry therefore this is strictly a review of my experience with these gloves and not the seller.

Good fit, very well made
Good fit and very well made. Very comfortable with only a minimal breaking in period needed.
My only gripes are that the pointer finger of both gloves is a bit short and both have a fair bit of leather folded into the finger tip, so it presses and rubs against your finger tip. Also the gauntlet is cut a bit tight and it can be hard to tug it over your wrist and jacket closure.
Otherwise very nice gloves and worth the money. And yes, they are more on the orange side, not red.

Awesome gloves
After messing around with cheaper, unbranded gloves I bought these after hearing good things about Alpinestars gloves. I recommend them, I went with a Large as I was between both medium and large and it’s recommended to go with the larger size with Alpinestars and it was the right move. Only complaint I have is that I wish the thumb was a little bit longer because I have long fingers and that’s the only one that feels a tad bit short. But maybe it’ll stretch out too. Overall 5/5

Great Glove
I had originally bought a pair of XL SP8-V2 which were a great fit but after a few rides they stretched out and were loose so I bought a Large pair of the SP8-V3. the V3s were super tight but again after a few rides, they stretched and now fit perfectly. I preferred the look of my V2's (Black/White) but the extra velcro wrist strap on the V3s make up for it. Overall: Very Comfortable once broken in, very grippy on my handlebars, look great and have great protection.

Yes, there is reinforcement on the palm slider for superior abrasion resistance.

Are these gloves waterproof and are they more summer season over winter?
Item has a choice of black/red but the picture shown is black and orange?
They are black and orange. Not a bright orange, more of a burnt orange. Very nice in my opinion.
