Looks OE and also fits 2018 model
I purchased this to install a Givi 58L Trekker Outback top case. The case installs onto the rack easily and without the case installed, this rack / mount blends well enough with the factory BMW GSA pannier rack to go unnoticed. I docked 1 star on ease of installation because a couple of the factory BMW screws are difficult to get a driver onto and the instructions could be improved with more text.
