Description
The TanklockED system enables a tanklock bag to be secured to the specific flange mounted to the fuel cap, using a security lock thus ensuring increased security. The tanklock bag can be attached and detached from the fuel tank without using the key. The key is only used to secure the tanklock bag when the motorcycle is left unattended. The lock type used in the ED System can be matched to the security locks used in top and side cases, the trolley base and also the tool box by using one of the following lock sets; SL102 / SL103 or SL105. Great product from Givi
Great product from Givi. I easily swapped the key lock barrel with a spare lock barrel I had with my Givi Trekker Outback and now have 1 key for both side cases and this tank bag. It's well made and secured with the Givi BF-02 tank ring on my Triumph.
5L is the perfect size.

Quality Item, clearance issues with bars
The item is quality made and has the ability to be locked with a key, unlike the previous models.
You will need to buy the metal tank ring separately - this tank bag does comes with the plastic ring that fits into the metal ring. The mechanism works fine, however I have only had it for a few weeks.
It comes with a rain cover and also an attachment that mounts on top of the tankbag for your phone, if you need that.
I mounted this on my 2018 Suzuki V-Strom 650xt with 1 inch pullback risers and there are clearance issues at full lock turn - you probably won’t be doing too much of that unless you are off-roading through tight terrain, but if mounted 2 inches to the rear it would be perfect.
Also, if you have the accessory Givi gps plastic padded case (great accessory and inexpensive) and mount, you won’t be able to use it with this bag mounted (clearance, no room, can’t see it over the tankbag).
Overall very solid and a quality piece, but beware of clearance issues with your handlebars.

Great little bag for keys, wallet and sunglasses. Just wish it was waterproof as I forgot to put the cover on in a downpour and it was pretty soaked inside.
