fits very well
this rack (PL4101) fit very well and I was able to install it in less than an hour. My bike is a 2002 Kawasaki W 650, so don't be discouraged if it only lists the W 800 as a bike it will fit

Excellent Product, Fits Very Well.
I was looking for a luggage system for my 2000 Kawasaki W650 Retro Bike, when I came across the Givi PL4101 on the FortNine Motorcycle website. I read the customer review which stated that it would also fit the earlier model 2000 Kawasaki W650s, so I ordered the Givi PL4101 mounting system and can say that it didn't disappoint. It fit very well and compliments the Retro styling of my motorcycle.
