          Description

The Heidenau K76 is an Adventure / Dual Sport tire for both on-and light off-road use. The wide tread block arrangement and balanced rubber compound provides excellent traction and foul-weather grip for the road, while allowing you to peel off tarmac and attack the fire road.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent off road I don't have nearly enough miles on this tire to comment on the longevity of it, but it seems to beholding up well enough for the 1000kms it'd rolled along. I got it hoping to get the 15000kms folks say it can go. I had it installed on a ktm 1290 super adventure, and it's slightly smaller than stock. But I find the grip is amazing. I've managed to drag a saddle bag in a tight corner, which is certainly new. It corrected my speedometer so it's now accurate, but that does make me ride faster. When it says I'm doing 130 I used to actually be only going 122 or so. So I've got a speeding ticket for it. I used to be nervous riding down through ditches due to the grip of the stock tire. But these heideneau tires really make a difference. If I can manage to get good mileage from this tire (as I expect) I'll be trying that k60 scout tire next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Très satisfait Mes K76 sont installées sur ma S Ténéré 1200. Ils ont une bonne adhérence sur l’asphalte et sur les chemins de gravier, secs ou mouillés. Pour les voyages sur des chemins plus difficiles, j’utilise des Heidenau K60.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth it. My last tire was a Shinko 705. Those tires last about a season for me, or about 5000km... and then they're finished. These tires, k76 are about twice the price, but will they offer twice the life? Well, so far so good. I've put about 5000km and the wear looks about half done. So I'm estimating two good seasons out of a rear tire like this. I have it in a 150 size. In this size, they also handle much better than the Shinko in my opinion.
