Perfect fit
I already had the 5" windshield and found I was getting hit with a lot of air. I moved up to the 7" and it was well worth the money. It cuts the air perfect and it looks great. So easy to install, took about 5 min.

Good windshield
The windshield attached quickly and easily to the fairing and it provides just enough height that the wind shear now is above my eyes. It is clear and strong -- I may have been able to get by with the 9" but I was riding down to 8C and the extra height was nice. It does not appear to affect the handling of the bike or the milage.

Great fit and easy install.
Purchase a few days ago . Intem arrived a few days later. Took 15 minutes to remove old shorter windshield and install this new taller one.

Top quality material
The windshield came in due time. The pre-drilled holes did not line up to fit in my fairing but it was easy to drill a couple more for proper fitment.

How is the 12 inches measured?

This is the amount of shield that is visible once it is installed on the fairing. Measuring from the top of the fairing to the top of the windshield.
