Purchased for my Yamaha raider
I had previously purchased the 5 inch windshield for my raider but I found that on long trips the wind tend to hit just about at my eye level and blur my vision a little not a big deal but I decided to purchase the 9" to see how it changed the wind deflection. I am 5' 10" and I love the 5" windshield for around town and short trips out of town and on the raider I think it looks nicer but if you are my height and just want the best wind protection go for the 9". I can still see over the 9" shield and will probably just leave it on now and not use the 5" anymore.

Totally Eliminated head shake from wind buffeting
Batwing fairing with wind deflectors and 9" spoiler windshield plus fork deflectors completely eliminated wind buffeting at 70 mph and above. The blurred vision from sunglasses and head shaking is gone too, and now the ride is far less fatiguing. Got the chrome trim and pouch storage option too. My Yamaha Stratoliner is like a new ride and as an added bonus i can clearly hear my music through the earbuds. Love it!

Good quality parts
I bought the Memphis shades batwing/windshield and wind deflectors 2 months ago. Made a big difference in riding enjoyment no more fighting the wind.

Works well.
06 road kind. Works well. I use my 5 inch for cruising solo and I install the 9 inch when I have a passenger or for long trips. Would buy again.

I replaced my 7" straight windshield by a 9" Spoiler Windshield. What a difference. I'm almost 6'2" and the height is about perfect.

Nice addition to my 2001 Yamaha Roadstar.
I would suggest installing the Bat Wing bracket first. Then attach the the Bat Wing.

Stops the bugs
Replaced a 6" windshield with the 9". No movement on my glasses from the wind and almost zero bugs to the face. Great improvement. Easy to install.

I bought a 6.5" windshield but mounting holes didn't match holes on the fairing. FortNine does not deal with this so you have to contact Memphis Shades directly for a replacement. They replied fast and sent another windshield but holes didn't match on it either. I sent them another email but they never replied.
Had the same issue with 9" windshield from Memphis Shade couple years back but that time first replacement shield worked.
Not sure if this is a quality control issue at Memphis Shades or what...

No, the Batwing Spoiler Windshield fits on a vehicle specific Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing, and Memphis Shades trigger lock mount kit. Memphis Shades do not list a Batwing fairing for your Goldwing

Will this fit on a 2019 HD soft tail slim bike
This item is designed to be used with the Memphis Shades Batwing Fairing. Memphis Shades do not currently list a Batwing fairing for a 2019 Softail Slim, so there would be no way to mount this windshield on your bike

For Memphis Shades Batwing Spoiler Windshield (Item # : 139604), there are 3 available sizes; the 5, 6.5 and 9 inch. Is the sizing just including the top of the windshield to where it connects onto the base? Or does it include the edge that it connects to
The height is measured from the top of the fairing when fitted.

That windshield won't fit your bike. You will need to go with the replacement Memphis shade spoiler windshield for OEM fairings. I have the 9" ghost on my 09 street glide and love it.

Do all three sizes of these windshields have the slight curve at the top.
The Spoiler Windshields have the curve, the standard windshields are straight. With the spoiler, you can use a shorter shield and get the same coverage. they work great!
