Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will Fit on a 2008 Yamaha V-Star 1300cc Tourer My V-Star tourer has a tall windshield. The Memphis Shades fork deflectors Model # MEM5804 - 2350-0143 do work with the fork mounting kit Model # MEK1934 - 2321-0166 The mounting bracket is adjustable for a variety of fork circumferences. Both long and short screws are provided. I butted the wide side of the deflector about 1/4" below the windshield mounting frame where it crosses the fork. The deflector will pass through on the backside of the turn signal light. I left about 1/4-1/2" clearance so the turn signal light was not jammed up against the deflector. Once everything was evened up on both sides, I synched up the mounting collar on the fork. Then came the test. Prior to the install, head/helmet buffeting at 110 to 120 km was almost intolerable. After an hour of riding the headache began setting in. Just took the bike on the road for a road test after mounting the deflectors. At 120-130 km there was a touch of wind head buffeting but it was hardly noticeable and after about 2 minutes I no longer even thought about it or noticed it. The source of the buffeting is coming from the road through the engine/leg guards and up over the tank. A simple test for this is to ride safely at about 80 km. and bring your left arm across your body at chest level. If you are having a wind buffeting problem coming from below you should feel an immediate reduction as your arm blocks the upward airflow. The solution is a set of lower fork mounted wind deflectors and this Memphis Shades model with mounting kit really works. My experience is a 90% improvement. I can live with 10% of the problem I had before. The product is very inexpensive and quite easy to install in relation to other lowers or wind deflectors on the market. This product does the job and I fully recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These are perfect! So let me start by saying that I was a bit skeptical at first about how effect these deflectors would work to reduce the buffeting I was getting around my helmet. They arrived and they were easy to install. I mean the install directions not the greatest but with trial and error you'll figure it out.. I installed them on my Suzuki Boulevard C50T ( make sure to order this combo for the C50 deflectors and clips MEM9898 & MEM5804) and when I hit the road I was amazed! They worked perfectly, I mean at higher speeds over 120km/h you can feel a bit of buffeting but not enough to bother you. So I would recommend these for anyone with a windshield and experiencing a lot of buffeting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fork deflectors work great I added the Memphis shades fork deflectors along with the Memphis Shades fairing. The Deflectors add more protection from wind and road debris.they are a nice addition to a fairing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great lower wind deflectors Just finished installing my new Memphis Lower wind deflectors on a 2006 Honda 750 Aero. Took my bike out for a quick spin and I no longer have the wind buffeting on my helmet. Great addition to my bike. Deflectors are easy to install and installation instructions are easy to follow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The deflecters work good once I added strips of neophrem to make the clamps tight. Hardware came separate. Much less wind buffering makes for a more pleasant ride.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great improvement I was experiencing a lot of wind buffeting at highway speeds, and was pleasantly surprised at how big an improvement these made. Highway rides are much more enjoyable now with the reduction in wind issues. Installation was a little tricky, but didn’t take very long after the “a-ha” moment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Memphis Fork deflectors These make all the difference in the world to get rid of unwanted air buffering. Being clear you don't even notice that they are there. They are big in size.

I have a 2007 Honda vt750 shadow areo. I am wondering if the mounting hardware needs to be mounted as high in the front forks as shown in you picture, or if they can be mounted lower. I have a front windshield that does hang bit lower.

          Asked by: Deadeye
I also had a windshield and engine guard that both presented a challenge. I had to 'play' with the height of the hardware since both limited the available room for mounting. I'm guessing you may have to play with whatever room you have to work with. I have since sold the bike.

What have you got that will fit my 2015 Speedmaster? I have a Memphis flyscreen, and hope to use the Memphis mounts. I would like more wind protection as the weather is cooling off quickly. Thank you from Fredbear

I added Memphis Shades Fork Deflectors to a 2011 V Star Classic. The wind reduction/helmet buffeting was reduced by 80%. The fork lowers really perform well in adding to rider comfort.
