Michelin Street Tube Item # 197442

Description
Michelin tubes are made with 100% butyl rubber, renowned for their ability to maintain air pressure over long periods of time. Butyl is also highly resistant to wear, friction and easily repaired. Unlike inexpensive tubes, which are made from straight sections of rubber tube formed into a circle, Michelin tubes are manufactured and cured in a circular mold. This method reduces tension on the tube when inflated and diminishes the likelihood of pinch flats. Michelin tubes are available in a wide array of sizes. Each size is designed for only a few specific applications, so that the tube and tire match perfectly without placing undue stress on the tube.

Good tube.
The Michelin tubes seem to hold air better than some of the others I've used.

Great Tube!
I change my tubes every time I change my tires, I figure why not. So Im onto my second set of these tubes, you can tell the quality is far superior to my OE tube. I also air down for ADV riding and have yet to pinch a tube.

I see other inner tube manufacturer have 2 nuts on the valve stem. Does Michelin have 2 or only 1? Also if 2 what is the setup, 1 inside 1 outside or 2 outside?
They have 2 nuts, and according to Michelin: The conical washer sits over the inner tube valve stem and should follow the contour of the valve so that the convex side sits against the wheel rim when fitting.
Once fitted to the wheel the two lock nuts sit on the valve cap side of the wheel rim. After fitment and inflation to the correct pressure, the two nuts should be backed up toward the valve cap, and locked against each other.
