wrong 50 lm
It turns out that there is a difference in size between the Garmin Nuvi 50 LM and the Garmin Drive 50 LM. I ordered the 50 LM bracket but the fit is quite tight on my Drive 50 LM and the opening for the power cable doesn't quite line up. I wound up having to cut the opening a bit bigger and fortunately the bracket will still hold the GPS unit firmly enough for use on my bike. Not sure if I made a mistake in ordering or if the bracket was supposed to fit both. Nonetheless, it does work and the price was reasonable. I would recommend to any potential buyers that they check carefully the details and description for the unit before buying.

You will need one of these as well:

It replaces one of the handlebar mounting bolts and has a ball mount on top.

will this cradle fit a garmin nuvi 58 LM
I use the cradel for a nuvi 50lm and it works fine. Compare the dimensions of both and see if they match up.
