Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not quite a supermoto tire I swapped my stock Dunlops of my 2013 drz400sm to these. I wanted something for confidence inspiring offroad and on the gravel roads. These tires do well in light offroad and gravel. But the very square edge of the tread let's you find the edge of grip very easily on the road. I could have bought too narrow of a tire for my bike 4.60 front and 5.10 rear. But the rear end has slid out on me a number of times on a deep lean turn. User error. I should have been riding to the tire's ability not the bike's. These tires ride well on the road. I commuted daily at highway speeds and these tires are perfectly fine. A little bit of loss on my top speed and acceleration but to be expected with a more aggressive tread pattern, small bike and a big rider. Wet traction is good. I found the rear tire would lock up very easily compared to street tires. To be expected as well. They do make a nice low growl when you make the tires skid. Braking power is definitely diminished with these tires. I would recommend these tires to someone that's looking for an adventure tire for long gravel road treks. Or someone with a bike you wouldn't be looking to drag your knee on.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value tire I have ran several of these tires, both the front and the rear models over varied terrain... I found the rear to be an OK tire but because it was only available in a smaller size for my application it would wear out fairly quick on my 640... The front is a different story and has become one of my favorite all around tires... The front gives decent traction along with a reasonably long lifespan while at the same time being priced fairly low... The one I currently have on the bike looks like it will make 14000-15000 KM before needing to be replaced which is well above average for my bike...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good all round tire Installed on a BMW F800 did alot of highway and alot of offroad and it did the job. Tire has worn choppy as most knobbies on front do but i put 10k plus on this tread and im on my second one now....Good value and good road manners..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the Shinko 700 for road and dirt I ride a CRF250L on tarmac and dirt routes. The Shinko 700 excels on hard packed dirt and rough rocky steep terrain, even at full street pressure. It holds a line on rocky accents, as it has a lot of rubber on the ground. It handles well on fast winding paved roads. The only downside is on loose gravel Forest Service Roads, it will slide out if you push it. That said, the slide is predictable and controllable. Not great in mushy muddy conditions. Very hard wearing. I get about 14,000 km from the rear, and 18,000 km from the front before excessive cupping forms on the front tire. These are my go-to tires, fore and aft.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shinko 700 Put on a Suzuki DR650. Very impressed with road and gravel travel. Have done some short muddy sections but def wouldn't want to go all day in the woods. Had Dunlop 606 on previously so will be checking out what Shinko has to offer next season in a similar tire. I stayed away from Shinko in past as thought they were a Chinese company, tired of supporting poor quality products from there. Shinko is Japanese.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My "go to" tire for a KLR Similar to the oem Dunlop K750 tires with a bit more offroad traction and slightly longer lasting. I have gone through 6 rears and typically change them around 6000 kms, although I have a bud who will stretch it out to 10,000. The rear is nice and quiet on tarmac, with great traction on gravel and loose dirt, loam, etc. Obviously any 50/50 tire will let you down in mud and deep sand, this tire is no different. The front is quiet until it gets around 5000 kms then it starts to develop a slight hum after 70kph

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 1000 km So far 1000 km on the tires. A great upgrade from the 50/50 tires I had on. Rode the Cape Breton highlands trail and they performed wonderful.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great 50/50 tires I’ve run through a couple of sets of the Shinko 700. I’d call it an 80/80 tire as it is solid on both the slab and off road.
