Wear them separately or together as a suit, the Tourmaster Shield Two Piece Rain Suit has a PVC coated poly shell with a full-length, two-way front zipper in the jacket. Batten down the hatches with the hook-and-loop cuffs and adjustable shock cord waist hem. Suspenders let you decide how high (or low) you wear the pants.

Great product at a great price!
Purchased the Tourmaster rain suit for my first 3 day road trip and I’m sure glad I did. 5 hours into the first day we hit a torrential downpour for 2 hours. The suit kept me completely dry. I had no problem getting the pants over my Joe Rocket riding boots. Quality material in my opinion and I expect it to last many years. I originally purchased the XL to fit over my XL Icon textile jacket but exchanged it for the Large. It fit great and looked much better. Exchanging it through Fortnine’s process was very easy and I had my account credited within 2 days.

Tourmaster Sentinel rain suit
My wife and I do long trips together (2 up). We thought that the 2 piece rainsuits would give us the greatest flexibility, having rain suits for riding, and decent looking after-riding jackets to wear around. The jackets have provided excellent rain protection when riding, and the thin under-helmet hood is very efficient at keeping rain from running down inside the jacket. One of the glued zipper seams on my wife's jacket came apart and had to be sewn. Generally, the jackets have been excellent. The pants are another story. There is a zippered portion on the lower leg which appears intended to allow the pants to be slipped on over wet riding boots, but it is much too short, and does
not allow enough expansion of the lower leg for
that purpose. At the bottom of the zipper is a totally inadequate 1cm square piece of "hook
and loop" which seems to be intended to hold
the zipper together. It doesn't.
If the newer versions of this gear have corrected the faults, then I would give much better rating.

Tried on for fit and wore it once - not in rain. Very comfortable and warm. My error was not verifying if it had a hood or not - to keep rain from going down ones neck - the only negative about it!!

this is the second time I have bought this item. Fit is good. Price is good. Only thing is I removed the elastic in the bottom of the pants. Cause they will creep up and stay there causing your clothing under the rain suit to get wet.

Do the pants have a heat shield on the lower leg? Thanks.
They do not. One of the bikes I ride is a Vision with a "hot" left side. I never had an issue as when these are in use it is usually very cool and wet.

Is this something I could potentially fit over my Teknic supervent mesh jacket (with armour it's very slim, big in the shoulders)? Or does this include armour pockets? Any highway riding I do to the city is an 8 hour drive. Even if it's snug that's ok.
No armor pockets. Everything is a relatively loose fit on mine. It's designed to go over your regular gear, so you shouldn't have trouble making space. That being said, its not the slickest rain gear you can get.
No insulation or anything, its just a waterproof layer to go on top of everything else. Bring an extra layer around with you to stay warm.
My rain gear has lasted six hours on a highway without any issues. This gear keeps you dry.
If you don't care about looking good when it pours, this is a good buy.

Is the XL made to fit over an XL motorbike jacket? And are the sizes for a male?
Sizes are male. You will need to buy a size bigger to fit over a riding coat. Example I wear 2XL riding Tourmaster coat and bought a 3XL Tourmaster rain suit.

Does this jacket have an UNDER-the-helmet hood to prevent rain from creeping in the back?
Nope, but for myself the sizing was good and the collar closed fairly tight. It did leak a little but it was really coming down! For the most part it is a good product, as I have other Tourmaster items. And stay with the product because the fit is always good.
