Excellent quality for a moderate price.
I've just ordered my 3rd one of this model. I'm a 7 1/2 size and usually get XL with SHOEI...but that's too large in HJC so I went with LARGE. It'll fit a bit snug for first little while but will stretch just sufficietnly after a season of use. Good material in the liner and the foam pads hold up really well. Vents are also well placed and provide a good air flow. This is a great helmet.

You'll never find a better helmet at this price.Comfortable, stylish, would definately recommend!!

Good helmet
I like the helmet. Fits good and comfortable. My only problem was the snaps on the visor want to unsnap. Since I don’t take visor off i just snapped them on with some goop and seems to hold.

Great Value
I was looking to replace my Shoei RJ Air that was getting worn out with age. The HJC was one fifth the cost and I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality. The helmet is lighter than the Shoei and just a fraction louder. (But still quiet - no need for earplugs on my Goldwing.) The venting isn't quite as effective, as there is no exit vent at the back of the helmet. The shell is fairly large, and wide on the sides (mine is an XL) and the padding is thick and comfortable. The visor doesn't rattle in the wind (yet). I've included a photo comparing the two.

Unfortunately, the HJC CS-5N Helmet is not Snell Certified. However, there is the following that are:
