Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating Ordered to replace a way too tight medium with way too short sleeves that, against my better judgement, the Klim fit wizard Klim customer service convinced me would fit, it did not. Unfortunately for me, way down in the legalese fine print from the store I ordered it from, “sale” was defined as “final sale”. So I’m saddled with a medium that doesn’t fit, can’t afford one that does until I find a way to sell it, and relegated to sewing an AStars back protector into my Carhartt work jacket. Not a huge deal, I’m dying, these are bucket list trips, and the problem will solve itself one way or the other. I’m just happy that Klim took longer to ship than expected, lest I have rode up north in it before finding out that the medium was final sale. To be clear, FortNine is awesome, no complaints. Great jacket too. This generation of Badlands jacket is markedly roomier than the previous iteration. My learned advice, go somewhere you can try on Klim gear before you buy it. Especially in the current environment of a Kilm gear supply dearth and demand glut. Ride while you can, it won’t be there forever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth the money Expensive but worth it, top shelf level of protection. Not to mention you'll stay dry in a typhoon. This is my second jacket, had to size up due to old age and the dad bod. Got tens of thousands of miles from my first.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Badlands pro jacket The only issue with this jacket is the front of the collar pushes into my neck when completely zipped up. Hence 4 stars. Otherwise, it’s comfortable everywhere else. Rode through heavy rain and stayed completely dry. Have not rode in hot weather yet but the amount of vents seem as they will provide adequate airflow. I’m confident that this, combined with a cooling vest, will keep me comfortable in some +30°c days.

                  Questions

Are these jackets windproof as well as waterproof? Keeping all wind out is what is important. Breathable is good, but needs to be windproof in order to be a one jacket for all the riding season on the prairies.

                  Asked by: Sask Buckwheat
Yes, this jacket is windproof as well as waterproof. Although it's not specifically stated in the description, any waterproof motorcycle jacket is also windproof as opposed to a mesh jacket which is neither.
