The CKX Flex RSV is specifically designed for trail snowmobilers or quad enthusiasts who love winter outings. This modular helmet has all the benefits of a full-face helmet and provides increased protection from the elements during trail outings in extreme weather conditions. It allows you to lift the chinguard section using a single push button, for easy communication, without having to remove the helmet. Also, the helmet's ProClip quick release mechanism ensures a quick and simple adjustment.
What makes this helmet special is that, although classified as a low-end helmet, it features an attractive look and good quality level. The Flex RSV features a retractable inner amber visor which reduces sun glare. Also, the double visor and breath deflector are specially designed to minimize main visor fogging.
You can also get an optional electric double visor for this helmet. Under the most extreme conditions, the electric visor becomes a must as it makes all fogging problems inside the helmet disappear almost completely.

Note: If you must wear prescription glasses under your helmet, then the model with the electric visor is actually required to prevent fogging.

Decent HelmetPurchased helmet a month ago and rode a couple times. Much better than previous (old) helmet. Heated visor works great, sizing is ok ( a little snug for sunglasses) and yellow visor is not very helpful. Would get darker visor next time. Biggest issue is catch mechanism on modular face shield does not catch reliably and can take a few tries to make it catch.

Great helmetI am pleasantly surprised with this helmet.
I was expecting it to be just 'ok' for the price.
It comes with all the connections (helmet to sled), it blocks most outside noise, the electric visor works great ( even for hours in -27°c), the quick release chin strap is a great feature, as well as the amber antiglare shield.
One disappointment, the module lifting action is limited to about 30° degrees and does not stay up. It lifts enough to drink a bottle of water.

Good, but...Overall happy with product, but have two comments . First, it should include an adaptor for the 12 V plug on the dash of most machines, so that the RCA connections could be simply plugged in instead of the manufacturer’s comments about hooking it up to the battery and splicing a 5 amp fuse in the line etc.
Secondly, there is an interior film on the visor, as well as an exterior protective film. The inside one is pretty hard to get at... need long agile fingers with long nails

Great helmet at a reasonable priceI bought this helmet a month ago have used it a fair bit. Works great very comfortable. Fortnine is great to order from fast shipping. Only complaint is the flip down orange visor comes down to easy. Hit a bump and it comes down part way

So I measured my head and I am 21 1/2 inches and 54 cm. So I am just unsure if I should get an xs or a s?

The fit is true to size, and the helmet should be snug so we would recommend the size XS.

When the front of the helmet is lifted,does the breath box clear the top of the helmet opening?

I'm not 100% sure of what you are asking. But when the helmet is lifted you are able to see fine, you do not see the breath box, it is lifted high enough and nothing catches when being opened.
