- Aerodynamic shape with an inner structure constructed of black textured ABS and outer structure of opaque black Lucite with a finish that can be painted but is designed to look great as is
- Fairing is predrilled and fitted with push-out hole plugs for easy deflector installation
- Trigger-Lock mount kits (sold separately) allow you to quickly and easily remove or install your fairing.
- Windshields are available (sold separately) in three heights and seven translucent colors
- Optional wind deflectors (sold separately) extend the lower fairing surface for smooth and increased air flow

Easy install, looks and works great
Installed the fairing on my Roadking, the stock windshield was ok, but I was getting lots of wind around and overtop the windshield causing head buffeting and my glasses to shake a lot. Installation took about 30 minutes, easy to do, just follow the instructions. My only real gripe is that the supplied mounting spacers which the fairing bracket clips into are now made of plastic. This is my 3rd Memphis Shade fairing and the other 2 had metal spacers, So it will be interesting to see how these hold up. I wish that I had gone with the black mounting brackets instead of chrome (I may paint them black), as they really stand out against the black fairing ( see pics)
But overall for the price, its a great product and Fort 9 are very fast at shipping, awesome guys too. A+

Losing nuts
I have lost both tilt adjusting fiting assemblies within the last week. Otherwise excellent product that does exactly what it is supposed to do. Great price and value.

Outstanding quality and look
Just recently purchased the batwing fairing for my HD SLIM. Not being familiar with mechanics and all I felt quite nervous having to install the Fairing on my machine. I even considered taking it in to get it install at the shop. Turned out to be very easy, instructions are idiot proof and the installation was quite simple. The fairing looks great and the quality of the composite is top grade. Note to those that have to relocate their signal lights from the handle bar to the fork cover. If you wire goes through your handle bar, you are looking at a 5 to 6 hrs of work to relocate your lights in a relatively clean look. Hòwever, if you use the relocation kit to extend the lower reach of you signal liģhts on the handle bar, your signals will completely clear the bottom portion of the Fairing. Time to install, 1hr at the most. Very pleased with my purchase, recommend it without hesitation.

Looks great
I installed this on my 1100 V star. I also bought the triger lock mounting kit. It took me about 20 min to install and it looks great. My bike had a full windshield and I only bought the 5" windshield for the batwing so I do notice a little more wind hitting my face but it is well worth it for the look it gives the bike. Looks a feels like a very good quality part, I highly recommend this item.

I purchased this fairing at the end on the 2014 season so haven't tried it as of yet. It went on easily with the Memphis Shades brackets. I DID have to modify the brackets as I have apes and without modifying the brackets the bars had to be rolled back too far. On a stock bike this fairing would fit like factory. The black material is a perfect match to my gloss Harley vivid black paint.

Will this fairing fit a 2000 vstar 1100 classic with spot lights?
This item is listed for your bike, but we can only confirm fitment with stock bikes. If the spotlights are an aftermarket product, you would need to check this with Memphis Shades.

Does one need to purchase the mounting kit or is their hardware with this that will enable it to attach to the windshield mount of my 2003 Vstar 1100?
This is just the batwing shell. You need to order the mounting kit & windshield separately

Is this one piece or two is it set up for stereo
1 piece. It's just an outer shell-no provisions for a stereo or speakers
