It's good.
Its my first headset and I'm still learning it but I find the welcome, goodbye and in-between beeps way too loud and havent found a way to fix this so far. I use it mostly to listen to music on my commute and for that it's just alright. Not too loud for most of the volume range and too loud for the rest. Mostly higher sounds are noticeable when on highway and rarely any low frequencies. For conversations its good when at busy city speeds but not comfortabe above 60kmh. Other party can hear all the wind and surrounding noise unless when talking but at least they can understand you better than you understand them.

Bought it to replace my Blon IEMs. Only for music and navigation. Very dissapointed with the speaker quality. Bass is almost non existent.

Cardo Freecom 2x. Fantastic
Bought the Card Frecom 2x Headset about a month ago and could not be more pleased with it for bike to bike communications for myself and my wife. We are only interested in bike to bike so we have not paired up anything else. I do not want to talk on my phone or listen to music. I expect to pair up a GPS as soon as I get one with Bluetooth capability. The units are easy to use and the speakers are fantastic....clear and no wind noise. A bit of advice though ...those units are not compatible on half helmets and, with the help of the the good people at FortNine, we could not find a way to make it fit. I use a full face so no problem. My wife was using a half helmet but needed to replace it so she went with the three quarter and the Cardo 2x works and fits perfectly. Great comm system.

Disappointing
Having looked forward to getting one of these I have been disappointed with this unit. It repeatedly disconnects and the mounting tape for the helmet did not stick even though I followed instructions. When it did work I had difficulty hearing the driving instructions which was the main reason I purchased it. My investment definitely did not pay off.

Good sound but not loud
Happy with the overall, sound quality is good but could be louder. Easy install in a Bell Qualifier DLX, highly recommend using the supplied stick-on base. If on an iPhone, turn off the Headphone Safety in Sounds & Haptics to give a little more volume boost. But the software works well and I can listen to Sirus XM through the app, and manage the odd call. Battery life seems good for the rides I've done so far, and will roam further over the next few months. Recommended.

Fastest Shipping I've Ever Seen
I haven't had a chance to use the unit yet, but wanted to comment on how fast Fortnine's shipping is, I ordered this yesterday around 3pm and received it this morning at 9:30am. It was also about $45 less expensive than Amazon and got here faster, so I'm very impressed with my first purchase at Fortnine.

If my wife and I are using these and both listening to our own music how does it know when we want to communicate? Do you have to press a button to talk, or will I hear everytime she starts singing?
Well, you can set it to either tap to talk or just free mic.
