Excellent value for money.
I’m happy with it. Sound quality is good for phone calls and with FRs radio, mic is very clear. the speakers are small so don’t expect an immersive audio experience. I like that the speakers are plugged in via 1/8” trs as this allows me to use a different set of speakers if I want to or to use in ear monitors. Overall a very good value and I’m glad I didn’t buy anything more expensive.

Terrible sound, overly tight fit.
Save yourself the money. Grab some 20-30 dollar earbuds and enjoy the quality. Seriously these sound worse than my grandmothers old tube radio my god. That was just from a 3/4 volume test in my living room.
I also wrecked my helmet pads trying to fit this into the speaker holes. The speakers are too big. They actually remind me of the cheap headphones we got in grade school in the early 2000s. Good job Cardo, NOT!

good for music, bad for GPS
I've spoken to Cardo and confirmed that there is nothing to do about my issue. Contrary to what the manual says, you must be listening to something for the volume controls to work. That is fine when you are listening to music. It is streaming while you play with the volume controls. However, when synced to a GPS, you can only change the volume while a direction is being spoken. That lasts a couple of seconds, the you are out of luck until the next verbal direction. This is not practical.

Amazing speakers.
Great headset easy setup and works perfectly! recently bought the Cardo Spirit headset and I'm really happy with it. It was super easy to install, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. The sound quality is great, and everything works just as expected. Overall, very satisfied with my purchase and would definitely recommend it!

How is the music quality on the headset?
It's quality for the price of the headset. The Spirit HD will give you slightly better sound since it comes with the 40mm speakers. If you want optimal sound though, you may want to consider a Cardo model with the JBL speakers, such as the Freecom X range.

I can't see the microphone info in the description. Does it come with mic and speakers as well as all the necessary for mounting it in an open face helmet?
Yes it comes with everything you need, speakers and a mic for a closed face helmet as well as a microphone for an open face helmet or modular helmet

Yes, that is correct, you would need to get a different Cardo unit in order to enjoy those premium features. This is a base model unit and as such lacks the functionality of the newer or more expensive units. This is oriented towards Solo/Beginner riders
